Mary Hazel Krownapple, 71, of Creston, died Sunday, September 25, 2016 at LifeCare Hospice.
Friends may call Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Memorial services will follow at the funeral home with Pastor Carolyn Berry officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd. Wooster, Ohio 44691.
Mary was born November 10, 1944 in Woodsfield, Ohio to Clark and Helen {Truex} Craig.
She married Robert Krownapple on May 26, 1988.
Mary had retired from Frito Lay after 37 years, she worked part time at Bob Evans. Mary enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers, playing cards, and went to various casinos, reading and crocheting. Mary loved spending time with her grandchildren and family gatherings.
Mary will be deeply missed by her husband; daughter Lisa (Greg) Maynard of Wooster, son Doug Rastetter of Marysville, stepson Kyle (Tami) Krownapple of Smithville, stepdaughter Dusty (Reece) Uhl of Millersburg; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Jennifer, Austin, Paige, and Greyson; brothers Dean (Nellie) and David Craig of Woodsfield; sisters Elsie McMorrow of Wooster, Ruth Pfalzgraf of Clarington, Linda (David) Wood of Moundsville, WV; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her daughter Teresa, her parents, sister Rosemary Ickes, brother Stephen Craig, brother in laws Jim McMorrow and Ed Pfalzgraf.
The family would like to thank the Cleveland Clinic Oncology staff for all of the care they provided for Mary. Special thanks to the staff at LifeCare Hospice for their outstanding services.
