Mary L. Hudson

Mary L. “Slavens” Husdon, 95, of Wooster, died Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at West View Healthy Living.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family. There will be no service held. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Mary was born December 25, 1927, in New Burnside, IL to Rev. G.E. and Ida {Hall} Slavens.

She married Hamon C. Hudson on April 13, 1945. He died September 11, 2003.

She retired from Rubbermaid in 1988. Mary was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Mary loved playing cards, going out to eat, and she was known for her sweet tooth. She had many friends and neighbors whom she spent most of her time with.

Mary will be deeply missed by her children Glenn A. (June) Hudson and Sandra L. Hudson; grandchildren Timothy (Stephanie) Hudson and Kevin (Christina) Hudson.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband and grandchild Katie Johnston.
