Mary Piatt

Mary Beth Piatt, 54, of Ashland, died Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Samaritan Hospital.

Mary was born November 16, 1964 in Ashland, Ohio to Thomas and Bernice {Smith} Nelson.

She married Billy Piatt on May 23, 1982.

Mary worked for Pentair for 20 years. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Mary will be deeply missed by her husband; children Chad (Sarah) Nelson, Kory Zimmerman, Billi Piatt all of Ashland; grandchildren Adam Austen, John Nelson, Opal Nelson, and Natalie Zimmerman; brothers Thomas Nelson Jr., and Ronald (Brandy) Martin Jr. both of Ashland; sister Theresa (Johnnie) Edwards of Shelby; and dog Thor.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel.  Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Butch White officiating.  Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
