Mary Shrimplin

Mary C. Shrimplin, 77, of Mount Vernon, died Monday, March 4, 2019 at OSU East Hospital, in Columbus.

Mary was born November 5, 1941 in Knox County to Robert and Goldie {Hulse} Kelly.

She graduated from St. Vincent DePaul in 1960.

Mary married James M. Shrimplin on November 14, 1964.

She retired from Taco Bell after 19 years. She attended St. Vincent DePaul Church. Mary loved playing bingo and doing word searches. She also loved cheering on The OSU and Cleveland sports teams.

Mary will be deeply missed by her husband James; children Rodney Shrimplin, Wanda Shrimplin, Cathy (Joe) Meyers and Annette (Jeff) Campolo; 8 grandchildren;  6 great-grandchildren; brothers James (Rose) Kelly and Michael Kelly; sister Beverly (Skip) Rockey.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Pat Depue.

Friends may call Friday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Mount Vernon Chapel. Services will follow at 2:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
