Mary Snyder

Mary Alice (Green) Snyder, 75, of Wadsworth died Sunday, April 26, at Summa Akron City Hospital, in Akron, OH. Mary was born June 15, 1939 in Portsmouth, OH to Millard & Laura {Williams} Green. She married David Snyder on December 27, 1957. Mary retired from Wadsworth City Schools after 25 years and was actively involved with her church and the Soprema Senior Center.
Mary will be deeply missed by her husband, David; children Dennis (Karen) of Wadsworth and Traci (Denis Boatright) of Monroe, GA; grandchildren Joshua, Justin and Maranda; great-grandchildren Logan and Ryan; sisters Eleanor Snyder, Anna Dell VanFossen, Rozena Yoder; and brother Bobby Green.
Mary was preceded in death by father Millard Green, mother Laura Green, stepmother Violet Matheny Green, and daughter Karen Sue. Friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, 9560 Acme Road, Seville, OH 44273. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am at Ambassador Baptist Church, 620 Trease Rd, Wadsworth, OH 44281 with Pastor Mike Decker officiating. Friends may also call from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Thursday. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Seville, OH.
