Mary Stanger

Mary C. Stanger, 95, of Wadsworth, died Thursday, October 15 at Altercare in Wadsworth. She was born July 21, 1914 in South Bend, IN to Benny and Nellie (Powlonek) Gavinesky. Mary had been employed at PCA, had been a cook at Sara Lee Nursing Home in Doylestown and attended Sacred Heart Of Jesus Church. She loved playing cards, crocheting, cooking, baking, and her grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, October 24 at 11:00 am at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Seville. Inurnment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Mary will be deeply missed by her children Loraine (James) Bieri of Wadsworth, Larry Stanger of Georgia, Pam Hemrick of Akron and Fred (Deb) Stanger of Doylestown, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 brother and 5 sisters.
