Mary was born March 11, 1948 in Portsmouth, Virginia to George E. and Anna B. {Shelton} Casey.
She received her High School Diploma in 1979. She married John P. Stanton I in 1966. John died in 2001. Mary was a cosmetologist for over 25 years and retired in 2013. She owned Union Hills Beauty Salon for over 20 years. Mary was a member of Desert Shadows Church. She enjoyed camping and loved watching baseball. Mary was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She spent time in Mexico on vacation. Mary really loved spending time with her family and friends. Mary will be deeply missed by her son JP Stanton III of OH, step-children; Vicki Kimmel, Larry Stanton of Phoenix, AZ and Jackie Stanton of NY, all of her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brother; Carl (Michelle) Casey of Wooster and sister Carol Wyand of Willoughby, OH. Mary was preceded in death by her parents George and Ann Casey, husband John of 35 years, step son John P. Stanton II, brothers George and Randy, sister Alice.
