Mary A Woodward of Wooster, died January 21, 2016 at West View Healthy Living in Wooster. She was 93 years old.
Mary was born February 14, 1922 in Portsmouth to the late Rufus Fannin and Irene (Peyton) Fannin. She lived in Orrville for many years, working at the former Westinghouse plant, retiring after 20 years of employment.
Mary was a poet, constantly working on new poems and submitting them to the local newspaper. She was also published in the Book of Poetry.
Mary will be deeply missed by her three children Jonathan Woodward of Dayton, Patty {Woodward} Couch of Wooster, Darlene Woodward of Ashland; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a brother Leroy Fannin of Dayton.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Helen {Fannin} Kielmar, Janice Fannin, and brothers Jim Fannin and Harold Fannin.
Mary will be missed by her family and friends. A private memorial service will be held for immediate family. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting with arrangements.
