Maxine Shopbell

Maxine Shopbell, 86, of Ashland, died July 2, 2021 at Bellmont Towers.

Maxine was born November 1, 1934 in Elyria, Ohio to Edwin and Nellie Grace {Blair} Finnell.

She attended college at Mansfield General Hospital School of Nursing.

She married George Arthur Shopbell on May 18, 1979.  He died in 2002.

Maxine worked in payroll and accounting for National Seating Company in Mansfield for many years. She attended Ashland Brethren in Christ Church. She enjoyed bowling, dancing and Eucher.

Maxine will be deeply missed by daughter Linda (Jim) Sgambellone of Carrollton; grandchildren Anthony (Katie), Mark (Paula), David (Jackie) Sgambellone, Nicole (Patrick) Kelleher, Jeff (Shannon) and Jeremy Lerch; fourteen great-grandchildren; and twin sister Marlene Harvey.

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, George and son Roger James Lerch Jr.

Services will be Friday, July 9 at 11am at Roberts Funeral Home Ashland Chapel with Pastor Keith Tyson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service.
