Maxine Elizabeth Wright, 91, of Wooster, died July 3, at Glendora Health Care Center.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11a.m at the funeral home with Jacob Lawson officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
Maxine was born May 14, 1925 in Akron, Ohio to Sidney and Gladys {Baker} Christopher.
She married Vernon K. Wright on March 29, 1940. He passed away May 21, 2003.
Maxine worked at JJ Newberrys, and also owned and did the bookeeping for The Candy Shop, and was an Eastern Star.
She will be deeply missed by her sons Jeff Wright of Morgantown, WV, Bruce (Joanna) Wright and Brad (Cathy) Wright both of Wooster; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; brother Pete (Mary) Christopher of Smithville; sisters Joyce Packard of Burbank, and Patty (Dean) Humrichouser of Shreve.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband and brother Larry.
