Michael Bishman

Michael Craig Bishman passed away at Marietta Memorial Hospital on November 13, 2019 in Marietta, OH at the age of 64.

Michael is survived by wife Chris Bishman, his children Michael & Jenny Bishman of Beverly, Ryan & Brittany Bishman of Reno, Elizabeth Bishman with Chris Henderson of Lowell, grandchildren Alexis, Abigail, Wyatt, Keona, Kadin, Keshon, Kaveon, Kyra, Dante, Caiden, brother-in-law Lloyd Cheeseman Jr. and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Gary Bishman, sister Jean Cheeseman, niece Kim Bishman-Fields all of Marietta and his granddaughter Kylee Bishman of Lowell.

Michael Craig Bishman was born on February 18, 1955 in Marietta, OH to Edwin & Elsie Bishman. He graduated from Marietta High School in 1973. He married Christina Thrasher in 1983. Mike began working for Fire Extinguisher Specialists as a Service Tech in 1981 and retired after working there 35 years. Over 35 years of marriage, the couple welcomed 3 children into their home. His children remember him as a loving father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Mike was talented guitar player and loved to sing. He was a generous, funny individual who loved his family and enjoyed his retirement by feeding his birds with friend Bill Hall.

Viewing will be Friday November 15, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM at Roberts Funeral Home, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Chad Mugrage officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
