Michael A. Casey, 55, of Wooster, died Friday November 7, 2014 at Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at New Hope Westwood Campus in Wooster. Memorial services will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the church with Pastor Tim Broughton officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 761, Wooster, Ohio 44691.
Michael was born March 24, 1959 in Wooster to Mack and Carol {Kurtz} Casey.
He attended Wooster High School.
He married Loretta Winkler on March 20, 2011.
He was a long distance truck driver. Michael was active in his church. He loved NASCAR, spending time with his kids, grandkids, and his dog Pugzy. Michael also enjoyed playing poker. Michael was a Life Banc donor and encourages others to be one as well.
Michael will be deeply missed by his wife; children Michael James Casey of Wooster, Candice (Scott) Varju of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Rachelle (Timothy) Godek, David Stroud ; grandchildren Maddison, Emelia, Tessa, Michael Patrick, Gianna; brothers Jeffrey and Douglas; sister Christine (Jackson) Haun.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Steven.
