Michael Taylor

Michael Eugene Taylor, 60, of Waverly, died September 22 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

Michael was born September 7, 1958 in Marietta to Raymond and Betty Taylor.

He retired from the Laborer’s Union 1085 in 2013. Michael loved to play Bluegrass on his banjo and sitting out on his porch. He also liked spending time with friends and family.

Michael will be deeply missed by his longtime companion Kathy Simmons; children Michelle (Scott) Gibson, Amanda Fowler, Joshua (Krissy) Taylor; grandchildren Taylor, Xander, Makayla, Laura, Josh, Hunter and Emily; mother Betty Taylor; brother Ray (Dawn) Taylor; sisters Linda (Dave) Hooper and Janet (Harry) Bradley; lots of nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Raymond Taylor.
