Nancy Baxter

Nancy Baxter, 64, of Wooster, died October 31, 2019 surrounded by her family following a brief illness.

Nancy was loved by all who knew her. For over thirty years she greeted friends and patrons of TJ’s Restaurant with a smile, charm and kind words. Her considerate, compassionate, generous and caring personality was greatly admired.  She always had time for conversation, to celebrate, or to make a special trip or stop to help someone in need.

Nancy loved her family, including those with four legs, unconditionally.  She was a major supporter of Paws in the Park Pawty, the annual fundraiser for the Wayne County Humane Society, and the Akron Children’s Hospital Make a Wish Campaign.

Nancy was a graduate of Triway High School.  She lived in Sandusky OH for many years where she helped manage a family business and worked on the Goodtime.  During that time she made many lifelong friends, and met her partner of 26 years.

Friends may call Wednesday Nov. 6 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday Nov. 7 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Father Stephen Moran officiating.  Friends are invited to a reception at TJ’s Restaurant following. Nancy was born April 28, 1955 in Wooster OH to Wido and Patricia {Palus} Gallo.

She will be deeply missed by her partner, David Muratori, children Shanna Baxter of Springfield and Cassandra Baxter of Chicago, her sisters Deborah Malta and Kathleen Gallo.  and grandson Finn Fletcher Hammer.
