Nancy Lee Chevalier

Nancy L Chevalier, 75, of 231 Woodlawn Ave, Belpre, OH passed away peacefully and comfortably in her home of 50 years surrounded by family. She was born on July 11, 1947 to Howard and Edna Lee in Antioch, OH.

She was a member of Porterfield Baptist Church. Nancy graduated from River High School in 1965.
She attended Mountain State College in Parkersburg, WV where she earned her Stenography degree. She started working for DuPont Company  in 1966 where she was promoted to Senior Stenography in which she retired in 2003 after 37 years.
Nancy loved her family dearly. She was the best wife, mother, and grandmother.  She married Zenith G Chevalier on Nov 2, 1969 and they were married for 54 years.
They had 2 sons and 1 daughter: Allan  born in 1973 and now resides with his wife Kim in Belpre, OH, Eric born in 1979 and now resides in Bradenton, FL, and Amy born on their 15th wedding anniversary in 1984 who in now deceased since 2017.
In her life, she enjoyed watching their children play sports. Then she greatly enjoyed watching their grandsons Joel, Jake, and Josh play sports.
Nancy is survived by husband (Zenith), son Allan (Kim) and son Eric along with Grandchild Joel, step grandchildren Jake Frame (Brittany) with their 4 children, and Josh Frame (Carrie) sisters Mary and Betty, and brothers David, Larry, and Dan.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Amy Jo, parents Edna and Howard, sisters JoAnn, Ruby, and brother Howard Jr.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 4 to 8 PM at Roberts Funeral Home, 27880 State Route 7, Marietta, OH 45750. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Leeson officiating. Interment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
