Nancy J. Shilling James, 60, of Columbus, died November 24, 2013 at Ohio State University Hospital East, in Columbus, OH.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Reverend Paula R. Marbury officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Regency Manor at 2000 Regency Manor Circle, Columbus, OH 43207 and American Diabetes Association at P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
Nancy was born June 26, 1953 in Du Bois, PA to the late Reverend Gilbert L. and Velma {Jelley} Shilling.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She spent time painting, writing poetry, listening and dancing to music.
Nancy will be deeply missed by son Daniel Adams of Florida; brothers Richard (Glenda) Shilling of Wooster, Dan (Becky) Shilling of Orrville and David (Mary) Shilling of Wooster; sister Carol O'Keefe of Grove City, OH; many nieces and nephews; Regency Manor friends of Columbus, OH.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, son Thomas Feist, brother-in-law Dennis O'Keefe.
