Nancy J. Peterson, 79, of Wooster, died Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at her residence in Wooster.
Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 PM at Wooster Church of the Nazarene, Wooster, OH.Funeral services will be Friday at 4 PM at the Church with Pastor Nathan Ward Officiating.Private family burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com . Nancy was born November 23, 1930, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Arthur Avery and Anna Catherine {Thompson} Meyer.She married Malcolm Stewart “Pete” Peterson June 1965 in Cleveland, OH.
Pete and Nancy established Montana Products in 1977.Nancy retired in 2007 as CEO.She was a member and Past Board Member of The Wooster Church of the Nazarene, Past Board Member of Northwestern Local Schools, Member of the board of trustees of Ashland University Seminary Representatives of Council.She donated her time and services to Friendtique.
Nancy is survived by her children Cynthia Williams of Lakeville, Gerry (Denny) Krueger of Brunswick, Rebecca Peterson of Strongsville, Jeff (Jadea) Andrews of West Salem, Malcolm (Patty) Peterson of Burbank, Tammy Anderson of Wooster, 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; a brother Bill Meyer; sisters Pat (Merv) Mull, Joan (Hal) Treat and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Cheryl Peterson, and a brother Art Meyer Jr.
