Nellie F. Hickling, 94, of Wadsworth, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Friends may call Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Funeral services will follow on Saturday starting at 3p.m. at the funeral home with Minister David Kenney officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Nellie was born February 10, 1922 in Rittman, Ohio to Leonard and Minnie {Richard} Willis.
She married Ralph Hickling on July 26, 1947.
Nellie was a homemaker who loved gardening, bowling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid quilter, liked to play cards, enjoyed canning and traveling with Ralph to see friends and family.
Nellie will be deeply missed by her husband of 69 years; daughter Joyce (Gary) Norris of Marshallville, son Robert (Sue) Hickling of Wadsworth; grandchildren Gary (Nancy) Norris II, Kelley (George) Hoover, James (Ronee) Norris, Lyndsay and Taylor Hickling; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Nellie was preceded in death by her siblings Fredrick, Lloyd, Howard, Marguerite, and Marjorie.
