Norma Jean Barnes, 86, of Wadsworth, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at Altercare of Wadsworth.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Wadsworth with Pastor Gary Pratt officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ambassador Baptist Church at 620 Trease Rd, Wadsworth, OH 44281.
Norma was born November 17, 1930 in Spring Hill, West Virginia to Steven and Lola Pearl {Osborne} Gray.
She married James "Jim" S. Barnes on September 21, 2003. He passed away on December 22, 2006.
Norma worked inside the home for most of her life. She was a member of Ambassador Baptist Church in Wadsworth. Norma enjoyed quilting and spending time with family.
Norma will be deeply missed by her brother Ronald (Marie) Gray of Wadsworth and Robert (Diane) Gray of Bush, Louisiana; sister Genevieve Paxton of Wallback, West Virginia; many nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband Jim, four brothers and five sisters.
