Norma Jean Covert, 93, of Wooster, died Tuesday October 17, 2017 at Danbury Woods.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Rev. J. Alexander officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Norma Jean was born March 31, 1924 in Dewar, Okalahoma to Lafe and Elizabeth {Mort} Alexander.
She graduated from Dewar High School.
She married Arthur Ray Covert.
Norma Jean retired from Akron Brass. She was a member of Central Christian Church. She enjoyed bowling, cross-stitching and volunteering at the Village Network.
Norma Jean will be deeply missed by her children Ron (Miriam) Covert of Elyria; grandson Eric (Lynn) Covert of PA; great-grandchildren Christian, Natalie, Sadie and Jackson; sister Wanda Carlen of FL.
Norma Jean was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Cynthia Gail.
