Norma Lou Ott, 76, of Wooster, passed away peacefully Friday, September 29, 2017 surrounded by her family at Aultman Hospital, in Canton.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
Norma was born January 10, 1941 in West Virginia to Jennings Theodore and Ruby Virginia {Cunningham} Brown.
She married Irvin Ott on March 19, 1960.
Norma was a sweet soul who loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. Norma loved singing, going to auctions and collecting Angels.
Norma will be greatly missed by her husband of 57 years; children Jay (Kim) Ott of West Salem, Pamela Ott Schafrath of West Salem; son-in-law Paul Schafrath of Wooster; grandchildren Tucker and Isaac Ott, Paul David (Jayla) Schafrath, Stacy (Mitch) Deitrich, Christine (Chat) Redick, Scott Schafrath, Laurie (Greg) Schaffter, Chuck Schafrath; 12 great-grandchildren and one on the way; three sisters; and many friends.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Shirley Howell and Marlyn Brown.
