Norma Jean "Granny" Miller, 81, of Ashland, died Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Good Shepherd Home.
Norma Jean was born January 12, 1932 in Woodsfield to George and Thelma Loretta (Adkinson) Willis. Norma married Marion H. Miller on May 23, 1950. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2003. She worked at Faultless and Abott Labs, retiring after having over 30 years of service. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Loundonville, the Women's Auxillary of Ashland VFW Post 1067. She like playing bingo and playing cards.
Norma Jean will be deeply missed by her son, Keith (Melody) Miller of Loudonville; daughters, Garlan Miller of Hayesville, Sheila (Willie) Daniels of Loudonville, Leah (Bobby) Hunter of Clarksfield, Melanie Miller of Ashland and Nina Kithcart of Jeromesville; daughter-in-law Lou Ann Miller of Loudonville; 23 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Tom (Deloris) Willis of Ashland; sisters, Patty Skok of Ashland, and Janice (Richard) Lumbatis of Lewisville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion; her son, Rev. Timothy Miller, brother Bobby Willis; sisters, Doris Mosher and Inez Dalrymple
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Roberts Funeral Home, Ashland Chapel with Pastor Don Earlenbaugh officiating.
