Norma Lorraine Wargo, 80, of Wadsworth, formally of Bedford Heights, died Friday, August 26, 2016 at The Avenue of Medina surrounded by her loving family.
Norma was born July 15, 1936 in Cleveland to Oldrich and Isabel {Tankovich} Fousek.
Norma graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1954.
She married Emery "Em" Alexander Wargo Sr. on November 10, 1956. He passed away on July 26, 2004.
Norma worked for the United States Postal Service starting in 1978, then she was promoted to Post Master in 1985, and in 1998 she retired. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Wadsworth. Norma enjoyed traveling, attending the theater, gardening, and playing cards with her friends.
Norma will be deeply missed by her children Diana (Kenneth) Wise of Brecksville, Emery Wargo Jr. of Mesa, AZ and Edward (Chris) Wargo of Wadsworth; grandchildren Jonathan (Lindsay) Wise of San Diego, CA and Arthur Wise of Brooklyn, NY; brothers Oldrich (Georgina) Fousek of Texas and Eric (Barbara) Fousek of Valley City.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish with Father Pat Spicer officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish at 260 Broad St, Wadsworth, OH 44281 or Hospice of Medina at 5075 Windfall Rd, Medina, OH 44256.
