Nyle Eugene Glaze

Nyle “Eugene” Glaze, II, 61, of Wooster, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Eugene was born in 1963, in Columbus, Ohio, to Nyle Eugene and Lois Katherine (Crabtree) Glaze, who both preceded him in death. Eugene is survived by his brother Michael (Janet) Glaze, and brother Keith (Cara) Glaze, his nephews and niece, Noah, Faith, Jacob and Zeke, uncle Harold (Ruth) Crabtree, uncle Lowell (Yvonne) Crabtree, (deceased) uncle Charles (Rebecca) Crabtree, (deceased) uncle Jack Crabtree, and many special cousins and friends. Eugene touched so many lives – we wish we could name each one.

He graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in landscape design and spent his career using his encyclopedic knowledge and creativity to bring beauty and functionality to many homes and businesses in the Wooster area. 

Eugene was a man of God with a deep love for God’s natural world and he loved to share this passion - foraging, fishing and exploring the woods any chance he got, taking along anyone who would go with him.

Eugene loved good times with good company, good food and laughter… no one did a game night like him, as many can attest to! He will be deeply missed by his church family at Hands of Grace in Wooster, where he lent his limitless creative talents to many music, drama and children’s programs and continually served the Lord with his kind, loving, giving nature and strong drive to be of service to others.

Although we know Eugene is happy to be home with the Lord and family who have gone before him, our worlds will simply not be the same without his bright smile, beautiful heart and generous spirit.
