Omahlee Sullivan

Omahlee Sullivan, 94, of Shreve, died November 6, 2023 at West View Manor, in Wooster.

Graveside services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Thursday November 9, 2023 at 10:15 AM. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Omahlee was born February 10, 1929 in Caraway, AR to Arthur and Dessie {Hall} James.

She graduated from Derring High School in Missouri.

She married William Sullivan on December 2, 1948. 

Omahlee worked for Andover Industries for many years.  She was a member of Gods Word Bible Church in Big Prairie, Ohio. She enjoyed playing games such as Yahtzee and spending time with her family. She never knew a stranger and was always smiling.

Omahlee will be deeply missed by her daughter Sue Chalfant; grandchildren Mark Roberts, Scott Roberts, Julie Stephenson, Tami Petitto, Kathie Runyon, Paul Pengal, Doug Chalfant, Andy Chalfant; great-grandchildren Alec Costello, Anthony Stephenson, Allyson Stephenson, Zoie Petitto, Theron Petitto, Cassie Miles, Dominic Girard, Jacob Runyon, Aubrey Pengal, Oliver Pengal, Elijah Chalfant, Amelia Chalfant; 10 great-great grandchildren; brother Frank James and sister Erma Couey.          

Omahlee was preceded in death by her husband William Sullivan, daughter Gloria Stoker, grandson Todd Roberts, brothers Everett James, Aaron James and Don James sisters Virgie Johnson, Dottie Jean and Sylvia Crispin.
