Orpha {Wellman} Conger, 87, of Wadsworth, died Sunday, June 28, 2020 at
Akron City Hospital.
Orpha was born February 15, 1933 in Wayne WV to Charlie and Blanche {Aliff} Wellman
She married Harry J. Conger on December 18, 1955.
Orpha spent her time as a homemaker and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She attended Ambassador Baptist Church of Wadsworth. She enjoyed baking cookies for the church and her grandkids.
Orpha will be deeply missed by her husband Harry; daughters Connie (Bill) Jenkins of Wadsworth, Paula (Michael) Finlay of Barberton grandchildren Zachary (Stephanie) Jenkins, Benjamin (Sarah) Jenkins, Emily (Tim) Phillips, AudraKate (Kevin) Gonzalez, TJ (Hannah) McLean, and Charles McLean; great-grandchildren Tyler, Elizabeth, Lucas, Gabriel, and Eloise Jenkins brother Charles (Phyllis) Wellman, many nephews and nieces.
Orpha was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Bessie, Myrtie, Bertha “Susie”, brothers Russell, Ralph, and Odra.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Private family services will be at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Decker officiating.
