Pamela Jane Mullen, 60, Wooster, Ohio, died on August 22, 2014 surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Pam was born April 1, 1954, in Wooster, Ohio, to Clyde J. Mullen and Margaret Lucille (Lilley) Mullen.
She attended Wayne Elementary School and was one of the first students to attend Ida Sue School in 1962. For several years, Pam rang bells in the Nick Amster Bell Choir.
Pam worked at Nick Amster Sheltered Workshop and Ida Sue School as a teacher's aide.
Pam was also employed at the College of Wooster for 10 years, having to retire due to her declining health.
Pam's participation in the Special Olympics through the years took her to many states in which she won many medals/trophies/ribbons. She loved to bowl, read, do word search books, play Bingo, and sing.
She was a member of Northview Christian Missionary Alliance Church where she was a teacher's helper in various Clubs and activities.
Pam's sweet smile, willingness to help and love for others (especially children) will always be remembered. No matter how difficult things became for Pam, she always did her best to smile and carry on. Pam touched the lives of many people and will be dearly missed.
Pam is survived by her mother, Margaret Lucille Mullen; her brother, Kenneth Mullen and his wife Connie; and her sister Connie Franks and her husband Keith. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.
Pam was preceded in death by her father, Clyde, and boyfriend Richard Beeler, both of whom she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be at Roberts Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 27th at 11:00 a.m.
Friends may call at Roberts Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 26th from 6:00 to 8:00.

Also Dr. Sharon Marcanthony for her loving and compassionate care; all the visits and love from Sharon Pooler and Tino (her therapy dog); Debbie Dunlap for all her help throughout the years; and her loving cousin Sandy Carpenter.
