Patricia A. Banks, 62, of Smithville, died Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Wooster Community Hospital.
Friends may call Friday, December 26, 2014 from 3 to 4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel. Services will be Friday at 4pm at the funeral home. Patricia was born February 2, 1952 in Elyria to Edward and Clarice {Garrett} Banks.
She graduated from West High in Cleveland in 1970.
She work for many years for Wooster Motor Ways and for the College of Wooster, until she retired. Patricia volunteered for Every Woman's House and taught Sunday School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She was a member of Wooster North Baptist Church and enjoyed their regular ministry visits.
Patricia will be deeply missed by her sisters Judy (Allan) Perrino of North Ridgeville, Nancy Fridley of Burbank, and Christine Bair of Doylestown, nieces and nephews Susan (Steve), Thomas, Edward (Kristen), Meagan (Jeramie), Bryan Patrick, Caitlin (Charles), Cora Ann, and Emma, and many great-nieces and nephews.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank Life Care Hospice, Wooster Community Hospital, Wooster North Baptist Church, and her friends at Glendora Care Center for the excellent care they provided.
