Patricia R. Crook

Patricia R. Crook, 92, of Wooster, died Monday, November 7, 2022, at Wayne County Care Center.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family.  Memorial services will be Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Cooper officiating. Patty was born April 9, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio to Donald and Ruby {Oliver} Bame.

She graduated from Ashland College with a B.A. in 1952.

She married George H. Crook on November 23, 1957. He died May 11, 2000. 

Patty was an employee and volunteer for the Wayne County Historical Society as well as a volunteer for Wooster Salvation Army and the Wooster United Methodist Church. 

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wooster and enjoyed participating in the church’s bell choir. Her hobbies were cross-stitch, crossword puzzles and reading.

Patty will be deeply missed by her brother Charles Bame of Flagstaff Arizona and her children Thomas of Sault Ste. Marie MI and Janet of Wooster.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband.
