Patricia "Pat" Vicars

Patricia “Pat” Vicars, 95, of Wooster, died Monday, August 22, 2022, at Ohio’s LifeCare Hospice, in Wooster.

Private family services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.  Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.  Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

Pat was born August 6, 1927, in Ashland to Harman and Margaret {Kramer} Schweyer.

She married Russell Vicars on April 30, 1948.  He passed November 24, 2016.

Pat worked for the Shreve Post Office for 23 years before retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Shreve United Methodist Church. She also attended Sovereign Word Baptist Church of Wooster. Pat enjoyed working on crossword puzzles. A book of puzzles was always by her chair and in her purse. Pat loved talking about cooking for her family. Her specialty was potato salad!

Pat will be deeply missed by her children Connie (Larry) Burns and Cathy (Jack) Henley; grandchildren Brian, Jason, Adam, Angie, Shawn, Lindsay, and Michael; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Karen (Tom) Motz and sister-in law Jan Crawford.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Carol, brothers Richard Crawford and Doug Schweyer.
