Patricia Sampson

Patricia M. Sampson, 77, of Wooster, died Friday, June 14, 2019 at LifeCare Hospice.

Services will be Saturday, June 29 at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating.  Inurnment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.

Patricia was born September 13, 1941 in Creston to Howard and Ada {Howard} Young.

She married Leroy Sampson on May 25, 1989.  He passed on December 11, 2009

Patricia was a homemaker and mom.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to Cleveland Indians on WQKTV, especially the broadcaster Tom Hamilton.  Patricia most loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patricia will be deeply missed by her children Robert (Robbi) Houghton of Ashland, Douglas (Paula) Houghton of Wooster, Carole Sue (Lewis) Malcomb of Burbank; step-children Rick Sampson and Jackie Sampson both of Wooster; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild; brother Walter Young of Creston; many nieces and nephews; special friends Alice Krueger, Denny Messner, Sharon Banfield, and Michael Messner.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, daughter Sandra Houghton, brother Nester Young and William Young, and sister Emma Yoss.
