Patricia Ann Shoemaker Zollinger, 73, of Rittman, died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Patricia was born February 8, 1944 in Wichita Falls, TX to Roy E. and Rosa C. {Lucas} Burkey.
She graduated from St. Thomas School of Nursing in 1983 with her diploma in nursing.
She married Duane Zollinger in July of 1986.
Patricia retired from Wadsworth Rittman Hospital in 2006 after 23 years of nursing. She was an artist and enjoyed making jewelry, crocheting, knitting, and spending time with her family and grandkids.
Patricia will be deeply missed by her husband; children Christopher Shoemaker of Rittman, Roberta (RJ) Morgan of CA, Michele (Mike) Thoman of FL, Jennifer (John) Starcher-Gulyas of Medina; grandchildren Jeffery, Ryan, Rebecca, Brittney, Lindsey, Nichole, Taylor, Danny, Dylan, Kenny, Dawn; 7 great-grandchildren; sister Bobbi Burkey of Norton.
Patricia was preceded in death by her son John Shoemaker and parents and late husband Albert R. Shoemaker.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 4 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Home, Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Friends may call from 2 to 4 at the funeral home.
