Paul William Dale Briggs, 89, of Ashland, died Monday, February 13, 2017 at Crystal Care Center of Ashland.
Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland is assisting the family with arrangements.
Paul was born January 15, 1928 in Woodsfield, Ohio to John W. and Bessie {Parks} Briggs.
He served in the US Navy during WWII.
Paul married Rosalie Rush in July of 1946. Then he married Frances Criss in November of 1954. She passed away on August 26, 2016
Paul retired from U-Brand after 42 years in 1988. He enjoyed traveling and spending his winters in Florida.
Paul will be deeply missed by children Roger (Ruthann) Briggs of Oxford, PA, Darcie (Sue) Briggs of Columbus, Mary (Tom) Dignin of Ashland, William Briggs and Betsy Briggs both of Columbus; step-daughters Barb Wheeler of Ashland and Bonnie (Ron) Jones of Columbus; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in death by his brothers Ralph and Larry Briggs, sisters Bessie Case, Thelma Hendershot and Joan Talpas.
