Paul Hupp

Paul Richard Hupp, 79, of Toledo, left his earthly body and went home to be with the Lord at Lakes of Sylvania Senior Living Community on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

Friends may call one hour prior to the 11 am Friday January 14th Celebration of Life Service at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Paul was born August 5, 1942, in Bellville, Ohio to Richard and Ruth Hupp (Adams).

He married Virginia Boulton on September 30, 1961.   Virginia survives and lives in Wooster.

Paul worked for the College of Wooster 30 years, retiring in 2002. Paul was a dedicated father who spent countless hours coaching youth baseball.  He had an incredibly positive impact on the lives of his young players.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family, playing the guitar, fishing, and watching the Indians, the Browns and the Buckeyes.

Paul will be deeply missed by his son Jerry (Heidi) of Summerville, SC; son Randy (Donna) of Greer, SC; Daughter Connie Hartzler (Darol) of Smithville; Corey (Sandy) of Toledo; grandchildren Katherine, Emily, Daniel, Joshua, Jonathan, Jordan, Kanon, Rachel, Carrie, Andrew, Noah, Miranda, Jillian; great-grandchildren Greyson, Colson and Amelia.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Ruth, and grandson Michael.
