Paul Wilson

Paul L. Wilson Sr., 85, of Ashland, died Saturday, January 23, 2021, at his residence.

Paul was born May 2, 1935, in Jacksonburg, WV to Edward and Virchie {White} Wilson.

He married Norma Lee Matz on April 20, 1957. They were married for 63 years.

He worked for Hedstrom for 43 years before retiring in May of 2000. Paul was a member of the Ashland Church of Christ. He enjoyed playing cards, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Paul will be deeply missed by his wife; children Gary (Nancy) Wilson of Polk, Patty (Jeff) Freewalt of Big Prairie, Paul Jr. (Treasa) Wilson of Mansfield, Melissa Ringler of Ashland, and Carla (Adam) Eikleberry of Ashland; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers Edward and Willard Wilson; sisters Beulah Underwood, and Betty Emery

Paul was preceded in death by his daughters Barbara Wilson and Shirley Wilson, 7 sisters, and 4 brothers.

Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland is assisting the family.  A private family service will be held at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Nowlin officiating.
