Pauline Eggerton, 93, formerly of Ashland, passed into God’s presence Sunday, November 17, 2019 at her home, in Payson, Arizona.
Pauline was born March 24, 1926 in Jeromesville, Ohio to Clarence and Minnie {Lucas} Meng.
She was a graduate of Jeromesville High School.
On March 24, 1949 she married Sheldon Eggerton, who precedes her. She is also preceded by her daughter Lucinda Kershner; sisters Ruth Markel, Betty Roseborough, and Maxine Smith; and brother Earl Meng
She worked for several years for Faultless and A.L. Garbers. She loved attending church and teaching Sunday school. Recently, she loved word puzzles, listening to hymns, going on car rides, and spending time with her family.
Pauline will be deeply missed by her daughter Diana (Dave) Caley; grandchildren Kari (Matt) Lucas, Kimberly (Curt) Jones, Timothy (Melanie) Jollay, Joshua (Brandy) Jones, James (Amy) Fambrough, and Noah Jones; several great-grandchildren; brothers Stanley Meng, and Jerry Meng; sister Shirley Burrell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 pm at Roberts Funeral Home, with Timothy Jollay officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. At her request, there will be no calling hours.
