Peggy L. DiMaio, 61, of Wooster, died Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Wooster Community Hospital.
Friends may call Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. A private family burial will be held at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 2525 Back Orrville Road, Wooster, OH 44691.
Peggy was born September 10, 1952 in Wooster, OH to James F. and Maxine M. {Drouhard} Wright.
She married Michael DiMaio on May 6, 1972. They were married for 41 years.
She retired from Western Reserve Group in 1999. She enjoyed working at Tuesday Morning after her retirement. She loved vacationing with her family and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life.
Peggy will be deeply missed by her husband Michael; daughters Melissa (Barth) Snyder of Wooster and Kimberly DiMaio of Hilliard; grandchildren Devan, Colton, and Brody Snyder; mother Maxine of Wooster; brother Al (Kathy) Wright; sister Connie (Charlie) Lepold; along with numerous additional family members.
Peggy was preceded in death by her father James in 1991.
The family would like to give a special thank you for the care and compassion provided by the staff at LifeCare Hospice and the nurses at Wooster Community Hospital.
