Peggy Joan Hoover

Peggy Joan Hoover, 91, of Belpre, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Rockland Ridge Nursing Home.

Peggy was born January 9, 1934 in Parkersburg to Fred and Gladys Caplinger.

She attended Parkersburg High School, where she played the piano and sang in the A Capella Choir.

Peggy attended and played the piano at Hills United Methodist Church.

Peggy will be deeply missed by her daughters Brenda Cobb and Rhonda (Charles) Callahan and Joyce (Bob) Jones; sons Raymond Cobb and Fred (Sharon) Hoover; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and her special friend Earl Bryner.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband James Hoover, sons Robert L. Cobb and Mark E. Hoover and her daughter Becky Caplinger.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date with inurnment at East Lawn Memorial Park.
