Peggy Louise Moyers, 66, of Ashland, died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at MedCentral Health System, in Mansfield.
Peggy was born September 20, 1948 in Lodi, Ohio to Robert and Bernice {Roach} Ody.
She graduated from Black River High School.
She married Robert "Rob" Moyers on December 15, 1987.
Peggy held several jobs throughout her career in the surrounding communities ending her lifework in the medical field after going back to school for Medical Assisting. She was an avid horse-lover and was a 4-H advisor for many years. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends and her three dogs. Peggy enjoyed riding her Harley and taking trips to Disney with her family which also brought joy into her life.
Peggy will be remembered as a strong woman with a smile that could light up a room. The joy she brought into her family and friends lives will not be soon forgotten. Although at times ornery, she will be remembered by her caring and loving nature.
Peggy will be deeply missed by her husband, Rob, of 27 years; children Kim Conley of Wellington, Beth (Dave) Will of Spencer, Kris (Scott) Nichols of Burbank, Brad (Amy) Moyers of Tennessee and Katie (Todd) Keating of Polk; 12 grandchildren; sister Bobbie Sumpter of Lodi; many nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, grandson James Arick Wolfe III and sister Donna Hardway.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Reid A. Firestone officiating.
