Percy W. Thomas, 88, of Wooster, passed away June 7, 2016 at Wayne County Care Center, in Wooster.
Memorial services will be Saturday, May 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel in Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Percy was born May 4, 1928 in Akron, Ohio to Joseph and Mabel {Kauffman} Thomas.
He married Madeline Eagle on November 25, 1953. She passed away February 20, 1983.
Percy retired from Wooster Brush Company after 40 years. He was a loving father, grandfather and family man.
Percy will be deeply missed by his children, Jim Thomas of Wooster, Vicki (Chuck) Koelsch of Providence, Rhode Island and Douglas (Lisa) Thomas of Shelby; grandchildren Rory Madeline Thomas and Brian Thomas; brother William (Marcia) Thomas of Massillon.
Percy was preceded in death by his wife, brothers Lowell, Joseph and Doyle Thomas and sisters Helen Hunt and Marjorie Jones.
