Perry Bourell Jr, 89, of Doylestown, passed away to be with the Lord Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Doylestown Health Care Center.
Perry was born January 19, 1921, in Cleveland to Perry and Effie (Strabley) Bourell.
Perry attended Western Reserve University before serving in the U. S. Army during World War II.He was a Message Center Clerk seeing action in Northern Solomon Islands.
After the war Perry was a salesman and an independent business owner. He was a member of Fairlawn Lutheran Church. He was an avid Model Railroading enthusiast, spending much of his retired life working with and promoting his hobby.
Perry will be deeply missed by his wife Carol of 64 years; children Doug Bourell of Brookpark, Don Bourell of Parkhills, KY, and Karen Bourell of Doylestown; four grandchildren Janice, Jennifer, Michael and Elizabeth; and two great-grandchildren Lucy and Gavin.
Perry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Lowell Bourell.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11 AM at Roberts Funeral Home- Hillcrest Chapel, Wadsworth, with Pastor Larry Leuthaeuser officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
