Phyllis J. Bellamy, 72, of Wooster, died Thursday September 20, 2012 at her residence.
Friends may call Monday, Sept. 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverends John and Betty Copus officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Phyllis was born May 27, 1940 in Wooster, OH to Samuel Dewey and Bertha Mae {Bruce} McAfee.
She married David E. Bellamy on November 20, 1970.
She graduated from Wooster High School in 1958.
She was a cook at Hawkins Market, Moore's Bakery and at Country Acres Restaurant. She was co-owner of "Our Place Eatery", a waitress at Grayson, Gano's and at Farm Dairy's. She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, painting, crafts, sewing, cooking, spending time with her family, camping at Prairie Lane Camp Ground, Facebook, yard sales and Wayne Co. Buy & Sale.
Phyllis will be deeply missed by her husband; son Mark A. (Becky) Bellamy; grandchildren Amanda M., Justin T., Brett S., Brooke C.; son Thomas D. (Wendy) Bellamy; grandchildren Ashley R., Samantha J.; brothers, Sam (Shirley) McAfee of Wooster, Bob (Louise) McAfee of Medina; sisters Bess Wade of Wheeling, Illinois, Betty (John) Copus of Wooster,
Phyllis was preceded in death by her brother Dick (Richard) McAfee; parents and stepfather S. Perry Feightner.
