Phyllis Jean Houts

Phyllis Jean Houts, 82, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, at her residence.

A memorial mass will be held Monday, September 26 at 11:00 am at St Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wooster with Fr. Rich Samide officiating.  Burial will be at Holy Cross cemetery in Brook Park. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.

Phyllis was born August 12, 1940, in Cleveland to Edmund Frank and Adeline Rose {Fulnecky} Schira.

She had been married to Thomas Patrick Halloran and Everett “Skip” Houts.

Phyllis was an accountant for many years and was active at St. Mary Catholic Church. She was an avid reader and loved her animals.

Phyllis will be deeply missed by her daughters Patricia (John) Malloy of Cleveland and Susan (Raymond) Green of North Ridgeville, grandchildren Jeffrey, Danielle, Jessica, Christopher, and Rachel, brother Thomas (Kay) Schira of Valley View, sister Mary Lou (Roger) Alto of Greenwich and a brother-in-law David Slatkovsky.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her sister Geraldine Slatkovsky.
