Phyllis A. Swineford

Phyllis A. Swineford, 89, of Fairfield, died Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Mercy Hospital, in Fairfield.

Phyllis was born July 19, 1933 in Ashland, OH to Lonnie and Gladys {Walker} Latham.

She married Charles Swineford on August 14, 1954. 

Phyllis enjoyed spending her time taking care of her family. She also loved to cook and bake. Phyllis attended Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Fairfield.

Phyllis will be deeply missed by her husband of 68 years; children Alana (Phillip) Stackhouse of Ashland, Scott (Kelley) Swineford of Hamilton, and Holly (Charles) Hughes of Hamilton; grandchildren Staci, Chris, Russell, Ryan, Jeffrey, Kelly, Ben, and Travis; many great-grandchildren

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Trevor, brothers Lyle, Gaylord, Jack, and sister Vivian.

Friends may call Thursday from 11 to 12 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland.  Services will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
