Rachel "Denise" Strickland

Rachel “Denise” Lynn Strickland, 62, of Wooster, died Saturday, May 2, 2020 at home.

Rachel was born April 9, 1958 in Massillon, OH to Weldon and Mary {McNeely} Farver.

Rachel received her bachelor’s degree in social work and psychology from College of Almeda.

She married Warren Strickland on October 9, 1987.

She was a Girl Scout leader for 12 years and was an avid animal lover who adopted any stray cat she found.

Rachel will be deeply missed by her husband; children Kendra Strickland of Akron, Kimberly Haslam of Davenport, FL; sister Stella (Richard) Herman.

Rachel was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law Ryan Haslam.
