Ralph Anderson, 71, of Waterford, died July 2, 2017 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Ralph was born November 25, 1945 in Fleming, Ohio to Elmo and Flora {Mercer} Anderson.
He was in the United States Army Reserves for 6 years.
He married Bonnie Hearn on September 5, 1965.
Ralph worked many jobs; pouring concrete, logging, trucking and construction. He was a longtime member of the Apostolic Lighthouse. Ralph was known for his love for going to eat with his wife. He never met a stranger and was always quick with a joke.
Ralph will be deeply missed by his wife of 51 years Bonnie; daughters Darla (Dana) Wilson and Missy (Sam) Tolson; grandchildren Hailey (Austin) Arnold, Erica (Jac Nichols) Wilson, Lakin (Darek Brown) Tolson and a great-granddaughter on the way Addison Arnold; brother Dale Lee (Ann) Anderson; sisters Belva Eileen (Harold) Sprague and Flora Maxine (Lewis) Bohl.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and brother Elmo Gale Anderson.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Melvin Adams officiating. Burial will be at Waterford Township Cemetery.
