Ralph Woods

Ralph E. Woods, 89, of Wooster passed away April 27, 2024, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.
Ralph was born May 31, 1934, to Emerson and Grace {McQuaid} Woods.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War flying in the B-29.
He married Phyllis Tozer on October 13, 1984. She survives.
Ralph was a truck mechanic for many years and was the service manager at Beall Avenue Car wash. Ralph was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Wooster United Methodist Church. Ralph was a member of Friends of Corvair, Wayne County Radio Controlled Model Airplane Club, and enjoyed building computers.
Ralph will be deeply missed by his wife, Phyllis; daughters Tyann (John) Walker, Kim Mast and Sheila (Greg) Moore all of Wooster; as well as several grandchildren.
Ralph was preceded in death by his son Nelson Woods and son-in-law Rick Mast.
Private services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor David Rittgers officiating.
