Ray Allen McCain

Ray Allen McCain, 72, of Parkersburg, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Continuing Healthcare at the Ridge in Mineral Ridge, Ohio.

Ray was born March 31, 1951 in Marietta, Ohio to Robert and Gwyneth {Morgenstern} McCain.

Ray served in the United States Army.

He married Carol McCain on November 24, 1990.  

During high school, Ray was a member of the Big Red Marching Band. He was a cross country truck driver for various companies throughout his life. Ray loved building models and was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Parkersburg. He liked buddying around with his best friend Mike.

Ray will be missed by his siblings Cheryl Flowers, Jake (Shari) McCain and Tom (Kim) McCain; sister-in-law Karen McCain and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his wife Carol McCain, sister Kathy Bailey and brother John McCain.

Friends may call Saturday, March 9^th from 12 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta.  Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Ernie Rapson officiating.
