Rebecca Piatt

Rebecca L. Piatt, 78, of Wooster, died Thursday, July 25, 2019 at The Avenue of Wooster.

Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Brian White officiating. Becky was born August 18, 1940 in Massillon, Ohio to Frederick and Mary Louise {Krumlauf} Smucker.

She graduated from Orrville High School in 1958.

She married Clyde Piatt August 1998. He died May 4, 2019.

Becky worked for Wayne General Hospital and then Dunlap Memorial Hospital. Later she worked for Freedlander’s and Elder-Beerman. She was a member of Parkview Christian Church. Becky played the piano and sang in the church choir. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Becky will be deeply missed by her children Greg (Wendy) Steiner of Wooster, Brenda (James) Stewart of Wooster, Bonnie Calcei of Akron, Bethany (Matthew) Sherrieb of Wooster; grandchildren Erica (Colton Dutter) Stewart, Sean (Katie) Stewart, Allison Stark, Anika Calcei, Sydney and Chloe Sherrieb; brother John (Sue) Smucker of Orrville.

Becky was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
