Richard Alexander

Richard Alexander, 73, of Lancing WV, died Sunday, August 30, 2020 at his residence.

Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Funeral services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Richard was born March 3, 1947 in Upland, PA to Calvin and Jean {Dempsey} Alexander.

He was married to Oneta Nelson for 53 years.

He was self-employed for most of his life, he drove truck until retiring in 2010. He was an avid gun enthusiast and enjoyed working in his garden.

Richard will be deeply missed by his wife; children Brandy Alexander, Noah Alexander; grandchildren Jude Alexander, Colt Alexander, Heather Dawn Hoke, Allen Alexander, Jimmy Rabe, and Jessica Ullom; several great-grandchildren; brothers Danny Wayne Carpenter, Ronald Ray (Mary Beth) Carpenter, and Scott Timothy Carpenter; sisters Catherine Lynn (Douglas) Marshall and Bonnie Faye Palmer.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, son Bradley Allen Alexander brothers James Philip Dempsey, Calvin Emmett, Michael William Carpenter, sister Rosa Lee, granddaughter Sandra Ullom.
